About the Foundation

Improve safety. Strengthen readiness. Save lives.

Arkansas Safety Training is the public-facing training identity of the Arkansas Water Safety & Emergency Training Foundation, serving Central Arkansas through practical, instructor-led safety education.

Our Mission

Practical preparation for Arkansas communities.

The Foundation works to improve safety and emergency preparedness through training, education, community partnerships, and increased access to essential response skills and equipment. Water and boating safety remain an important part of the Foundation’s charitable mission.

Built around practical community need

Many Arkansas communities depend on volunteer responders and local organizations that must act decisively during the first critical minutes of an emergency.

Bring training closer to the people who need it.
Use skills-based instruction rather than awareness alone.
Build sustainable local capability through partnerships and repeat training.
Training Leadership

Safety training backed by professional qualifications.

Arkansas Safety Training programs are led by Bill North, whose safety, occupational-health, emergency-response, and instructional background supports practical training for responders, workplaces, public agencies, and community organizations.

Earlier interventionCPR, AED use, and bleeding control can begin before higher-level medical resources arrive.
More capable volunteersSkills-based training helps local responders act confidently within their training and protocols.
Stronger local systemsEquipment, repeat education, and partnerships can turn one class into ongoing readiness.
